 | 2013 Field PreviewBecause of the high demand by players for the Columbus, Ohio, site, the USGA created an alternate sectional in nearby Springfield, allowing for golfers who don’t get into the Columbus site to not have to travel very far. |

 | Groupings for Sectional Q.For the 5th Time in the past 6 years one of 13 US Open Sectional Qualifying Sites will be at Springfield CC. This year there are 39 contestants, 12 Amateurs, 27 Professionals from 17 states and 4 different countries. |

 | DDWGA Shamble ResultsThe 1st Event of the DDWGA Tournament Season was held on Monday, May 20th under warm and breezy conditions. Daryl Nels & Cynthia Pratt won the low gross flight with a score of 69. Sandy Hentges & Linda Bailey won the Net 1st Flight and Jessica Chilton & Jennie Joyce won the 2nd flight. |

 | USGA Expands Happ's AreaThe USGA Green Section Department has expanded Keith Happ territory to include most of the retiring Bob Brames area. Happ started with the USGA in 1993 as agronomist in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Keith has also been a Certified GCS and has his B.S. degree in Agronomy from OSU. |
