    Kathleen Glavin returns to 'Community' a ChampionFive years ago a 15-year-old Kathleen Glavin sat in the pro shop at Community Golf Course waiting for her tee time in the Janet Beardsley Junior Girls Golf Tournament, which was still 90 minutes away.

    Moraine to host Ceremonial Event on October 11On Monday, October 11th, Moraine CC will host the Inaugural Ceremonial Event. This season ending event will get underway with a 1pm shotgun and is limited to the FIRST 25 TEAMS TO REGISTER. After play the Association will recognize yearly award winners at a Dinner Banquet that will follow play.
    Mixed Metropolitan ResultsCongratulations to our winners and all those playing in the the 2010 Mixed Metropolitan. It was a great day for golf with a break in the humidity and a high only in the mid 80's. It appeared a good time was had by all!

    Daryl Nels Donates Quilt for Scholarship FundHolding the golf themed quilt is Daryl Nels and the Auction Winner Marty Dale. Daryl over the 2009 off season made a golf quilt and auctioned off chances with proceeds benefitting the DDWGA Scholarship Fund for Junior Girl Golfers. The Auction Raised just shy of $400.
    Twin Best Ball Event at DCC Wrap UpThe Annual Twin Best Ball Event was held on Monday, August 9, 2010 at Dayton Country Club. Scores were hot, as was the weather, on this sweltry and humid Summer Day!
    DDWGA Team Wins 2010 Tri-City MatchesOn Tuesday, August 3, 2010 the DDWGA played teams from Cincinnati and Columbus and came away victorious. The 18 Hole Event was hosted at the Medallion Club in Columbus. The DDWGA wins for the 2nd time in 3 years!
    DDWGA'ers Team Up For Partners EventSome say that two heads are better than one. When you can double the golf and triple the fun, the DDWGA agrees, hence the reason for the annual Partners Event. This year's competition, held at Windy Knoll Golf Course, didn't dissapiont.
    Juniors Excel at Janet Beardsley EventCommunity Golf Course played host to the Janet Beardsley Junior Girls event on July 8. Despite some sizzling temperatures, all in attendance enjoyed a great afternoon of golf.
    Jinx Fensel RecapPiqua Country Club played host to the Jinx Fensel Memorial Tournament on July 6. Despite weather that reached into the mid 90s, DDWGA members took to course in what was a great afternoon of golf.
